Salary
Officers are paid in accordance with the current national levels of pay relative to your rank (excluding any local benefits i.e. London weighting).
National salary pay scale will apply however officers transferring from Forces that do not follow this scale will have their current salary realigned to Northumbria Police pay scales, ensuring that any detriment or gain to salary as a result of the transfer is minimal.
If you are re-joining at the same rank your salary point will be the same as when you left the service.
Continuous Service & Entitlement
Any reconcilable service with an eligible Police Force is transferred to us and as such you will continue receive pay and annual leave increments. This is the case, whether you have a break in service or not.
