Frequently Asked Questions

You should be at least 18 years old, but there are there is no upper age limit to joining our apprenticeship scheme.

You can find our standard eligibility criteria on our job descriptions. Dependent on the apprenticeship role you are applying for there may be some additional criteria.

For entry onto the apprenticeship, you are required to have Maths & English at one of the following standards:

  • Level 2 qualifications in both English and Maths for example a GCSE or iGCSE at level 4 (grade C) or above, Functional Skills Level 2, Key Skills
  • Level 2 (Communication and / or Literacy) or Adult Numeracy / Literacy Plus

Copies of certificates will be required. If you are currently working towards obtaining any of the above qualifications, we will require certification before progressing your application to final offer stage.

In addition, you’ll also receive further benefits such as pastoral support and dedicated academic support throughout your apprenticeship to support a healthy work life balance.

Apprenticeship periods vary based on the standard but typically between 12-18 months.

The range of qualifications you can earn range from a level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSEs), a level 3 (equivalent to 2 ‘A’ levels) all the way through to a level 7, which is equivalent to a Masters degree.

We also have our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) entry route for those who wish to become a uniformed officer.

As an apprentice with TeamNP we’ll support your personal development and career progression. Your support from our training teams will include:
