When do I need to tell my current force that I am applying for a transfer?
You can choose when to let your force know about your intention to transfer.
What formal notice do I need to provide to my current force?
You should not provide any resignation to your current force until your pre-employment checks have been completed and you have received written notification of a transfer date.
What training will I receive?
You'll join a 3 day induction session at our Coach Lane Campus, followed by a refreshed Public and Personal Safety Training (PPST) taken over 2 days.
Will I receive removal or relocation expenses?
Unfortunately, the Force is not able to provide a removal or relocation cost for transferees.
