What’s the best way to notify you of a change in my personal circumstances?
You must inform the Force Vetting Unit of any changes to your personal circumstances during and after the vetting process. It is your responsibility to report these changes.
Will I be told why my vetting is refused?
There are many reasons why an applicant can be refused and where possible the applicant will be told the reasons.
Can I appeal if my vetting is refused?
Yes, you may appeal a vetting decision. Any appeal must be in writing and clearly set out the grounds for appeal.
