Transferees &
Re-joiners

Northumbria Police is currently accepting applications for the Transferee and Re-joiners recruitment programme from individuals with specific, specialised skill sets.

We would love to hear from you if you are a Police Officer looking for a new challenge, and come from any of the following backgrounds:

  • Detective Qualified (PIP2)
  • Substantive Sergeant Rank or above
  • Any other specialist skills
  • Neighbourhood Policing background or willingness to work in this area

If the above applies to you, we look forward to receiving your application. We will assess both your suitability and our current resourcing requirements once you have submitted your application.

Officers must be serving or previous serving (in the last 5 years) and have completed their probationary period. You must be or have been serving with a Home Office Force, or Police Scotland/PSNI.

If successful in the process your posting will primarily be based on force demand, and your skill set.

To express an interest, please contact: jointeamnp@northumbria.police.uk – giving a brief breakdown of your skill set and circumstances.
